Following a series of UK dates, Jethro Tull has announced the European leg of The Curiosity Tour for 2026. The tour celebrates the band’s extraordinary musical legacy, spanning 24 studio albums released between 1968 and the present day, while also showcasing material from their latest album, Curious Ruminant. The legendary British progressive rock band will perform in Budapest on 23 August 2026 at the Budapest Congress Center.

Jethro Tull began performing regularly at London’s legendary Marquee Club in January 1968. By the end of the following year, their rapidly growing success had taken them from club stages to theatres and concert halls across the UK—a tradition they continue to this day, albeit with perhaps a few more grey hairs.

Although many of their long-time fans have now reached retirement age, they still travel with the same youthful enthusiasm to see a group of seasoned musicians who continue to enjoy every moment on stage. And that is exactly what Ian Anderson and his band deliver: energetic, dynamic performances, with dazzling musicianship and seemingly effortless mastery as they race across fretboards and keyboards alike.

Joining Ian Anderson on stage will be the band’s long-standing line-up: David Goodier on bass guitar, John O’Hara on keyboards, Scott Hammond on drums, and the band’s newest member, Jack Clark, on guitar.
