The Nutcracker, the most beloved Christmas ballet, is coming to Budapest, presented by the production company Art Partner. In a magical interpretation by the Ukrainian Classical Ballet, The Nutcracker will be performed on 23 December, 2025 at Budapest Congress Center.

The audience will be immersed in the enchanting world of Clara, a young girl who discovers an extraordinary gift beneath the Christmas tree – a wooden Nutcracker doll – and embarks on a wondrous adventure set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless music. This season, Budapest audience will experience an entirely new production featuring modern stage and directorial concepts, lavish decorations, illuminated costumes, and contemporary video projections. Traditional choreography enriched with fresh, modern elements promises a truly unique experience for all viewers.

Following multiple sold-out tours across the region, the Ukrainian Classical Ballet returns to Budapest to once again delight audiences with its acclaimed production of one of the world’s most famous and most frequently performed ballets. The company, composed of international dancers and soloists who are principals at prestigious European theatres, has performed over 200 ballet productions in the past two seasons alone. Last year, The Nutcracker was seen by more than 50,000 spectators across Europe.
